No breakfast included, but option of a place across road for 8EUR but i chose to eat elsewhere. Location very central, more upmarket area, felt safe as, but with others, didnt walk at night on own, never do. Short walk to the main taxi pickup, bus stops (definitely take the on-off buses), Tevoli fountain and Spanish Steps. Heaps of restaurants, shops. Staff were friendly and helpful, air con was difficult for me to operate but staff realized it was actually turned off on the actual unit itself, so be sure to check that out if any problems. And air con worked superbly. Yes a lift, at bottom of stairs, but very small, only 1 person can use at a time with suitcases, buts thats all good. I mostly took the stairs, 3 flights, as figured good exercise. Room was adequate for me, yes bit old fashioned but I liked the decor, and thing is, it is advertised with this decor, so shouldnt be any complaints from anyone about it. Yes abit dark, but hey, thats what lights were invented for, right?? Over-all I liked the accommodation, and would recommend as so central to everything.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Antica Roma. The room was a little small, but lacked nothing and very much met our needs of a bed to sleep in after returning daily from sight seeing. The tall room window opened widely and fully and provided a beautiful view of the city street below and other very nice buildings. There is an elevator, which we appreciated having. It's really only large enough for 2 people or 1 person and maybe 2 bags, which wasn't an issue at all. Great location, with about a 5 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and numerous stores, shops and restaurants all around. There's a very reasonably priced pastry/coffee/crepe/gelato shop just 2-3 doors down which we went to every morning for coffee and a pastry for breakfast and a gelato ahead of returning to our room each night.

Great location, close to the tube station (which takes you to termini and also to the Vatican) 5 mins walk from the Trevi fountain, about 20 mins from the coliseum, and about 45 mins to walk to the Vatican if you wanted to walk. Great room for 3 people, plenty of towels and toilet rolls, room was cleaned daily (even when we didn’t ask) clean towels every day too. Lovely old building, very Italian design, nice safety of having the locked doors. Would stay here again! Aircon and heating was a bonus, welcoming and friendly staff.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable, just a short walk from all the major attractions and fantastic restaurants. The room was equipped with everything I needed, making my stay comfortable. The hotel is housed in a charming historic building, yet everything inside is perfectly designed for convenience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a blend of history and comfort in the heart of the city! Excellent value for money.

The hotel is in a central location ideal for exploring the sights and attractions of Rome as well as restaurants, bars and shops. We loved the authentic old world charm of the building which used to be a monastery. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating, especially the owner. Rooms had air con, the shower was very good and we had a little balcony with a table and chairs that looked out onto a quiet side street.
